INDUSTRIES
South Africa and Africa are currently restructuring their energy and utility sectors in response to international demands and paradigms. The optimisation of the opportunities that arise from local and international market demands, the repositioning of state assets and the increased access to African resources and expanding markets through the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) objectives provides a primary focus for the various companies in the Group particularly in oil, gas, ancillary energy and utility projects.
The Group acts as a catalyst investor to unlock potential in industrial projects which contribute to energy operations as well as strategic business relationships and pursues opportunities in the development, operation and maintenance of operate-to-supply public service utilities and ancillary services, including maintenance and field support services.
Interests in developing and operating primary energy generating assets such as oil, natural gas, petroleum products, coal, and electricity such as Strategic relationships in the development, operation, management, and maintenance of energy-generating assets are in focus.
Memorandums of Understanding have been entered into with African governments, state-owned companies, indigenous companies, and African producers for the acquisition and trading of oil and gas mutual interest, including the exploration and exploitation of blocks in Africa.
